There are two types of probation. If you’re on unsupervised probation, there’s no limitation on your ability to move around. The answer would be yes, if you’re on supervised probation. Ordinarily, you’re allowed to move if you’re on supervised probation, but if you have to jump through some hoops because your supervision will have to be transferred and accepted by the state you’ll be going to.

There’s some paperwork that has to go-between and there’s a reciprocal act that most states have joined where they will exchange probationers. They’ll allow you to move which have to go through paperwork for that. The interesting problem for a DWI person, if you are on a limited driving privilege, it allows you to drive during the time your license is revoked, the court here is giving you limited driving privileges. You have to check in to the laws of the state where you’re going to, to make sure that we’ll still be in good standing there.
